Dr. Schram’s academic interests focus on increasing the operational efficiency of caring for hospitalized patients with the goal of optimizing the utilization of limited healthcare resources. He is also developing innovative hospitalist staffing models to facilitate increased coordination of care between inpatient and outpatient settings.
