Dr. Golden provides highly skilled care for patients with a range of cancers, including brain, head and neck, lung, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary malignancies. Dr. Golden has expertise in radiation techniques including IMRT and SBRT and focuses on minimizing damage to normal tissues.
Dr. Golden's practice is based at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL, where patients receive the expertise and investigational therapies of the University of Chicago Medicine in a convenient community setting.
Dr. Golden's research focuses on trainee and patient education. He has authored over 80 journal articles and has contributed to a leading Radiation Oncology textbook. He has received funding from the National Institutes of Health for cancer research education and from the Radiation Oncology Institute for development of novel patient education tools.
