Dr. Blackman is a clinician-educator whose scholarly work focuses on addressing racial and ethnic health and health care disparities. Her efforts center on developing educational curricula, creating conceptual frameworks to better understand the roots of disparities, identifying effective interventions to reduce and eliminate these inequities, and highlighting critical gaps that must be addressed to advance health equity.
