Joseph Steiner, PhD

Joseph Steiner, PhD DABR is an Assistant Professor and Clinical Nuclear Medical Physicist at the University of Chicago. He serves as the Director of Nuclear Medicine Physics and an assistant radiation safety officer in the Radiology Department at the University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Steiner holds a faculty position at the Committee on Medical Physics at the University of Chicago. He is a nuclear medicine and theranostics expert, and has additional interests in education, ethics, radiation safety, and the medical physics workforce. He contributes to various committees of AAPM, ABR, and SNMMI.
