Dr. Thompson specializes in care of older adults with frailty and multimorbidity. She Co-Directs University of Chicago’s Successful Aging and Frailty Evaluation (SAFE) Clinic, a consultative comprehensive geriatric assessment and frailty evaluation and management service with an interdisciplinary team approach. Additionally, she is Project Director for the Supporting Healthy Aging Resources and Education (SHARE) Network, a Geriatrics Workforce Enhancement Program project funded through the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). Through this project, she leads geriatrics educational initiatives for health care professionals, students and community members.
