Maria (Lolita) Alcocer Alkureishi, MD, is a primary care physician for infants, children and teens of all ages. Her goal is to provide continuity of care and preventive health care services for medically underserved youth. She serves as Clerkship Director for the Pritzker School of Medicine, Faculty Advisor for the Pediatric Interest Group, and Assistant Program Director for Primary Care at Comer Children’s Hospital.
A dedicated educator, Dr. Alkureishi teaches medical students, interns and residents about pediatric clinical care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings. Her research activities focus on patient-centered EHR use and medical education.
