2023 marks the 12th year that the University of Chicago will have a team at the JPMorgan Corporate Challenge, and you are invited to participate with your coworkers, family, and friends. The Corporate Challenge will feature a 3.5-mile run/walk on city streets, starting at 6:50PM on Thursday, May 18th in Grant Park.  The University will pay $29 toward your entry fee and provide on-site refreshments for your post-event enjoyment.

  • Registration is now open. Please visit this University specific event site and select “Create Participant Account.”  Note: Accounts may exist from past years’ events, but each participant will need to have an account at the event site and prior to registration.
  • The team name (University of Chicago) should then be entered for you automatically.
  • On the registration site, it is important to complete the field labelled “Your response or question to your team captain.” Please enter “BSD.”  (If you are registering non-employees, please also use BSD for their registration).
  • The University will be paying $29 toward the full entry fee of $59.
  • You will be asked to provide the remaining $30 as part of your online registration process.
  • Event online registration must be completed by end of day, Friday, April 28th.  This schedule is set by the race organizer and cannot be adjusted.

The University will provide a day-of-race tent, tables, and chairs and will cater a light meal for participants after the event.  More information will be provided to you by direct email after registration has closed on April 28th.

The University will also provide a team T-Shirt. Unisex sizes for the team shirt will be collected on the registration form. All participants will also receive an additional event shirt after the finish, and you may select the style and size of your event shirt at that time.

Each University employee is eligible to register up to two additional people, who will also receive the University’s contribution to the registration fee, the T-Shirt, and are welcome to join the post-race catering.  Follow the same process indicated above to register your guests.

Note that transportation to/from Grant Park on the day of the event is your responsibility.
