Last year, the University launched a new events system called LiveWhale, which offers many modern calendar features like the ability to add images, display event location, improved searchability, and more.
Effective March 31, 2023, the BSD transitioned to this new system and retired the myBSD events page. Users can now submit events to the main BSD calendar by filling out the form at the following page (CNET login required):

Under “Submit to this calendar,” select “BSD” from the dropdown list. Events will be moderated and approved within 3-5 business days. If you would like to manage your own events, you can request a calendar for your organization here:

If you already have a LiveWhale calendar for your group, you do not need to submit events twice. You can suggest events for the main BSD calendar by using the “Share to other calendars” feature, and we will review them.
We encourage you to begin using the new events system immediately. We also discontinued the daily myBSD email on March 31 as well. If you have posted events to myBSD beyond that date, we recommend resubmitting them to the new calendar system. To view the latest events, users are encouraged to visit the BSD calendar directly, or use one of several options to subscribe to its feed.
